Trump preparing to ban Nigerian from getting American Visa
President Donald Trump is considering adding Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation, to the list of visa ban countries.
The US media reported on Tuesday that the American president is considering adding seven more countries to the travel ban list.
The countries are Belarus, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Nigeria, Sudan and Tanzania.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Trump said he was considering adding countries to the travel ban, but he declined to disclose the particular ones.
Trump first introduced travel ban on seven Islamic nations in 2017 - one week after taking power.
He had signed an executive order restricting citizens of Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela and North Korea from the US.
The US leader had said the move which sparked outrage across the world was taken to keep America safe.
Last year, Nigeria was among the largest global drop off to the US following strict visa measures.
