Mompha,Tiwa Savage, $500 Gift, Twerking Contest And All That Happened At Naira Marley’s Marlian Fest

It was an historic night on the 30th of December 2019 when Nigerian rapper, widely known as Naira Marley took to the headline his sold out concert tagged: “Marlian Fest”.

The show which was organized by Entertainment company, Pentagon.ng saw in attendance Marlians—the name the rapper chose to call his fans— from all works of life.

At about some minutes past Twelve, Naira Marley stepped on stage dressed in a purple pull over and a white trouser on a black the shoe.

He would hold his fans spell bound for the next four hours with assistance from supporting acts like Zinoleesky, Zlatan Ibile, Peruzzi, Dremo, Lil Kesh, Reminisce and Tiwa Savage.

As expected top and influential people attended the party, however, one man caught the eyes of fans as his appearance at the show was to an extent not expected. 

This man was Mompha, the self acclaimed Bureau De Change operator who was recently arrested following a joint operation between Interpol and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for his alleged role in a Wire fraud also known as “Yahoo Yahoo”.

Mompha, who had been remanded in prison custody, after being arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on 14 counts bordering on fraud, money laundering, and running a foreign exchange business without the authorisation of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was granted bail of 100million.

Dressed in a flowery blue shirt, he maintained his usual poise and attitude as he sat on a “Black VVIP Table Category”. 

Another high point during the show, was when he invited two Male fans to dance. The best of the two was given $500 by Naira Marley. After this, the rapper called for a twerking competition for the ladies.

About 8 girls took to the stage to swing it out. Eventually, a lady dressed in an all black outfit emerged winner following a vote for her by the fans.

Naira Marley’s gift to her was to dance with her and perform some erotic dance with her on stage to the delight of fans.
