£180,000 a week or No deal! Striker tells Chelsea

Chelsea have been taken aback by the salary demand of their No 9 English striker Tammy Abraham. 

Tammy Abraham has demanded that the Stamford bridge club offer him a deal of £180k a week to match that of winger Callum Hodson Odoi who signed his extension at the beginning of the season, Sports File and Goal is reporting. 

The striker who has scored 14goals this season for the London club belives he deserves such a pay for the results he has produced this season since stepping up to lead the line.

Although Abraham still has 2 and a half years on his current contract, Chelsea is trying to tie up their young talents to longer contracts.

While Chelsea has successfully offered contracts to Hudson Odoi, Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus Cheek and Fikayo Tomori, Abraham has insisted that he would only be signing that extension when the offer is made significantly better.
